Volkswagen cars: Which is elder: Polo or Vento

Volkswagen, the German carmaker, is again betting it's luck with a new sedan car in India that is called as Volkswagen Vento-this car is the elder brother of Volkswagen Polo even the latter has been introduced a few weeks ago and the former is still to be unveiled. The Volkswagen Polo is available for sale in India in petrol and diesel engine with 4 variants in each engine type while the Vento, a premium sedan car, will also be having same engine options: petrol and diesel. Volkswagen Vento will share a common 1.6 litre engine for both type of fuel type engine.




The new Volkswagen Vento will take on most popular sedan in India- Honda City-there is not doubt about it or if you please think once more and you will find the answer for the former has manual and automatic gearbox, ABS and EBD with disc brakes and spacious front and rear seats row with ample headroom. The company announced the launch period for the Vento that is this autumn (June or July 2010). Alike the Honda City, Volkswagen Vento might be priced between Rs 8-10 lakh. The German company has launched the Volkswagen Polo in Auto Expo, 2010 in Delhi, it received a thrilling response from car lovers in the country.
