General Motors has recently unveiled the most awaited diesel small car Chevrolet Beat in India. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel price in India starts from Rs 4.29 lakhs. The small wonder is available in three variants including PS, LS and LT. The Beat LT is also introduced with ABS, airbags and alloy wheels that costs around Rs 5.45 lakhs.
Chevrolet Beat petorl and LPG variants are already available in the market. The small diesel car has been equipped with 1.0 litre, 936cc, three cylinder diesel engine that is capable enough to offer 58 PS of maximum power at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 150 NM at 1175 rpm, the engine is well support by 5 speed manual transmission.
The new Chevrolet Beat comes with a few changes over its petrol version that consists of power steering, Intelligent Launch Support System (ILSS), Advanced Insta-Torque Boost (AIB), Smart Engine & Clutch Protection Mode (SECP), Gas Charged Rebound Tuned Suspension (GRTS), etc.
