Ford Fiesta 2011 launched, priced Rs 8.23 lakh

Ford India has now launched the all new Ford Fiesta 2011 in India in Mumbai. The New Ford Fiesta 2011 is available in two variants viz. petrol and diesel. The new car in India has 1.5 liter powerful engine supported by new Ti-VCTtec that is capable of leaving top cars in the segment such as Volkswagen Vento, Honda City, Fiat Linea, Maruti SX4, etc.

Ford Fiesta price in India

Ford Fiesta is available in four variants for petrol and another four for diesel model. The variants names are Style, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus. The Ford Fiesta Style badged as the basic model that has very basic features unlike fully loaded top model Titanium.

The Ford Fiesta price in India tagged at Rs 8.23 lakhs for the basic and the higher-end diesel model comes at Rs. 10.42 lakhs.

The Ford Fiesta Titanium Plus price for petrol model is Rs. 9.42 lakhs (New Delhi)
The same model of the diesel version comes at Rs 10.42 lakhs that means RS 1 lakh has to be paid extra for a fuel efficient and affordable Fiesta.

The diesel version of Fiesta price starts from RS 9.72 lakhs, whereas the petrol base model is priced at Rs. 8.23 lakhs.

Ford Fiesta mileage

Ford says that the New Ford Fiesta mileage is 17.0 kmpl for the petrol version and 23.5 kmpl for the diesel version.

It has chrome radiator grille surround, turn indicators on rear view mirrors, body colour ORVM, bumper, door handles, leather wrapped steering wheel, metallic finish sterling, passenger underseat storage, cup holders, coin holders and magazine holder, auto A/C with voice control, front rear power window, adjustable rear head rests, highest adjustable driver seat, fuel computer, cruise control and reserve parking sensors, etc.
Its instrument cluster comprises of digital tripmeter, tachometer, low fuel warning, driver seat belt warning and headlamp on warning.

Ford Fiesta Review- Engine

The new Ford sedan the Fiesta is powered by a 1.5 litre, 1499cc, Ti-VCT, 4 cylinder, 16 valve, DOHC petrol engine that delivers max power output of 109 PS at 6045 rpm and 140 NM at 4630 rpm. The diesel engine has same 1.5 litre, 1498cc, TDCi, 4 cylinder, 8 valve, SOHC engine that delivers max power of 90 PS at 3750 rpm and torque of 204 NM at 2750 rpm. Both has similar 5 speed gearbox. And both has ventilated front disc brakes and self adjusting drum brakes at rear. 15 inch alloy wheels are common for the both versions.
